Job Responsibilities

As a Lab Technician at ChildLife Foundation, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accuracy in all diagnostic procedures. Your key duties will include:

• Collecting, labeling, and analyzing blood, urine, and other body fluid samples.

• Conducting chemical, hematological, and microbiological tests following standard protocols.

• Operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory instruments and analyzers.

• Recording, interpreting, and reporting test results with precision.

• Ensuring adherence to laboratory safety and quality control standards.

• Coordinating with doctors and medical staff to provide timely diagnostic information.

• Maintaining proper documentation and inventory of reagents and supplies.

In addition, you’ll assist in training junior staff and implementing new testing procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of the laboratory.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this Lab Technician job in Karachi, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institute.
